Finally got the take the car out yesterday. Gorgeous day here is Pa, about 75 degrees and sunny. I logged about 70 blissful miles! Quiet, responsive and most of all smooth as silk! Car always started well cold but now it starts like a modern car under all conditions. I did a lot of stops along my route and it never disappointed me! New fuel pump is also a nice change as it is so much quieter than the previous one.
BIG thanks to all who helped but especially Jim Doerr who stepped in when I was at the end of my rope. I think all the problems I found made an improvement along the way but none was as critical as Jim's diagnosis and service! Thanks again Jim!!

So happy to hear things when well! Keep driving.
PS. Thanks for reminding me I need to swap the junk Chinese pump out of my #6 car. Haven't used them in years.

thanks Ron! I think we got it for real now!
well worth the money! I bought the Chinese junk before I knew the direction this car would take. I originally bought this car for parts.
couldn't have said it better myself!!
