Car Alarm Sensitivity
Anyone else set off car alarms?
On Oahu, space is limited. I use many different parking garages. My car's rumbling sets off car alarms a lot.
Of course, car theft is a BIG problem in Hawaii. But, do the alarms HAVE to be set to go off by a passing car?

Aloha,
ViribusUnits, With your set up I would expect you to shake the whole floor.
Nice to hear that a 90 S4 will also sound off.
My wife says my car sounds like a helicopter is landing.

I do. Really, the building.
Sometimes I'll get the harmonics right, just the right exauste frequency, at just the right point in the beam and WOW! If there's a car alarm in the building, it goes off!
Big smiles.
Btw, you don't know the half if it with the set up.
It's nothing but steel pipe all the way from the engine to the muffler in the rear. Well, excepting the cast iron exaust mannafolds. The muffler apperently isn't as good as new with some minor internal rusting of the baffles. Fun fun fun...
