Default What is this connector - Underneath Air Filter Housing

1985 - 928S

I'm about to change out the fuel lines and noticed a connector that was not plugged to anything...
First pic is where the connector leads to (circled in red), second, is the "free end" of the connector (3 pins).

that is a TDC indicator for a diagnostic tool. Not sure what tool actually connected to it though. don't know that I've ever heard of anyone utilizing it for anything. I removed mine, and have never missed it.
