Looks like respray, worn through, then original, worn through, then primer, and then bare metal.

Was as told this car was originally silver, and original owner resprayed it some shade of gray.

Since #30 is supposed to be silver, not sure what color I'll paint this one(eventually). I haven't got a name for her yet either..::

Got her home and unloaded, just as it got dark. Will be out of town the rest of the week, so I won't get to play until next weekend. Here is what I observed so far:

Interior shot (no surprise)
Font shift ball cup gone
Rear shift linkage shot
Radio gone
Antennae gone
Hole in roof where someone mounted roof antennae at one time
Sealant on bottom of gas tank
No battery
Accumulator does not look so hot
Hole in bottom of pumpkin
Patch next to hole on bottom of pumpkin
Brakes work
Tires shot
No key for rear hatch
One of the H4 headlights has bad reflective coating in it.

All in all, this car seems to be in about the same shape as #30, give and take....

PO said he had it running a few months ago. Motor looks good, needs some vacuum lines reattached. Gonna replace all the fuel lines and hoses.

I have a spare tank, and some seats that are bad, but not that ratty, got another steering wheel....

Car has a very nice chin spoiler, H4's, the most desirable 5-speed ( ) and a very straight body.

Congrats, Ron.

Good luck with the old girl. Just be sure to get those wiper arms up off the windshield before you do put a battery in and turn the key...cause you know the wiper switch will be on, for sure.

Brian.

I kind of like the paint worn into two tones, it looks like an upside down shark's colors; dark on top and light on the bottom, complete with battle scars on its nose. Good luck.

I totally agree. Arrest the surface rust areas and get this thing mechanically sorted so you have a car you can drive

Yea Scott, no problems at all.

Dave...all 3 of my OB's have 16" phonies. Love them.

Trey....that was supposed to be the plan with the white 82, but right now, it's frustrating me.

Brian...good idea, who knows what will fire up when I connect the battery....when I dropped one into #30, the CE panel let all its smoke out!

Alex- ha good pic...looks just like her.
