Just won this 1990 928 S4 up on BaT for $18,500
We finally won one of the BaT 928 auctions! My family has another 928.
Understanding the value on these has been increasing, does anyone have any input if we overpaid or got a got a deal? We were looking for black exterior with automatic, so that limited options.
It was a one owner car that was picked up early this year locally by a 996 owner, I suspect he was planning to flip it. I covertly spoke to the Porsche independent shop on the phone that has maintained it for 25 years and they vouched for the car mechanically. The only repaint is front bumper. Rear bumper was replaced in a very minor accident.
Thoughts?

I agree. Looks to be a good value. I wouldn't worry about the price right now. Hang onto it for a long time and no doubt if and when you go to sell it you'll have no regrets. I don't see these getting any cheaper, ever.

The overly processed photos with the artistic vigneting is what hurt this 928's price the most. When you get too creative with photo filters, buyers will think that you're trying to gloss over imperfections.
