If you don't need stock upgrade to a truly superior product 1/2" thick aircraft bulkhead foam - rated for temperature holds up well in engine bay environment - one side is a smooth enough surface to mount vinyl decals.

The SP-500 1/2" is ideal. Use 3M 80 spray on adhesive (most others wont stand the heat).
