My daughter can't keep the #s straight on the 914 & 928 and since both are black, she refers to them as "the 2 seat one" and "the 4 seat one". I tried to give her a mnemonic device to keep them straight in that the smaller number (914) has the fewer seats and the larger # more seats, but it hasn't caught on.

I went for aliteration, so the first one was named Penelope (because she cost a pretty penny) and the second Prudence (because buying a 928 from ebay without going to look at it first is anything but prudent)

All three 928s have had names, all given by my daughter.
1st 928 was "Ugh" cause she thought the color was ugly. Ouch, those 14 year olds can be brutal! Was the only 928 she didn't like. Now as a 27 yr old, she'll call to tell me when she sees a 928 on the road somewhere!
2nd 928 & current one she named "Dunkel", once she heard me say the color name of DunkelBlau.
3rd 928 was "Whitey" cause it was Grand Prix White.
Have two Speed Yellow Porches currently, a 968 Cab named "Ole Yeller" and a Boxster S named "Yellow Cab".
