Screen nozzle part number puzzle
Did it by popping nozzle out, cutting the very thin tie wrap that holds the tubing to barb, and blowing out with air from compressor. Now both jets from that nozzle work equally well.
When looking at possibility of replacing nozzle with new, I researched threads here that had raised issues including left and right handed ness of nozzles, and p/n changes following removal of intensive washer system MY92.
My experience did not match any of these threads!
First off PET lists same p/n for both sides 928.628.077.00. But that's odd to start with, as on my rhs nozzle barb points towards centre of car, and the nozzle on lhs is mirror image, so it's not same part.
While I had the rhs nozzle out, I could see the part number embossed on it was not 928.628.077.00 but 944.628.077.00. I bet the lhs nozzle has 928 p/n but haven't checked this.
So it's an error in PET at least for the 87-91 I checked. It's an important one as if you order the 928.628.077.00 it would have barb in wrong direction to attach tubing (there's very little slack).
