Wassergekühlt and the hipster generation
PCA eNews, Rob Sass: What's driving the entry-level air-cooled Porsche market?
https://www.pca.org/news/2017-05-04/...porsche-market
I read the article since I've just acquired a 911 SC (good news: they are trendy items for the younger generation). But the last few sentences were a surprise:
"As for me, Im buying up transaxle cars in anticipation of the inevitable hipster-driven Wassergekühlt backlash. You cant count anything out in the Porsche world."
Do we have any hipsters here with a Wassergekühlt attitude? Where can I get a PBR decal for my car?

I think if Gretch ever walked down the street in Portland, they would worship him like C3-PO at Ewok village.

I don't want anyone to worry: the official beer of Camp 928 will NOT be Pabst Blue Ribbon. How about this? Smooth, like one of Alex's cars - and brewed in his home town.

Does the fact that I was born in Rochester and have never drunk a Genesee beer mean I'm not a hipster? (fingers crossed....)

Nothing sh*tty about Schlitz
A few years before the craft beer craze hit, Schlitz (actually Pabst since they own it) put their "pre-war" recipe back in production and it's been on tap handles around here even since.
I usually have a "tall Schlitz" at Lake Street in Elkhart Lake with lunch.

Road-tripped to a wedding in Colorado in the 70's. Took along a case of Stroh's and a case of Rolling Rock. They were received in Boulder with the "what a treat!" gratitude that Coors would have been in Columbus, Ohio. We felt a little like The Bandit. Coulda used a Smokey different than the ones we met.

AAAhhhh PBR.
Always snubbed my nose at it until Doc (infamous Doc of rennlist) dropped by with a 12'er of it. Went down so smooth and changed my mind. I like it.
