This frees up SO much engine bay space, it's criminal to leave the factory unit in place, esp if you have an S4 automatic, which makes working around there more challenging with the additional cooling connections.
Install was silly easy, and the spal fans bolt down to the shroud with the hardware included and with the nuts/hardware firmly attached to the shroud already.
The 3D printed intake snouts are pretty cool too, and bolt down securely as well.
12" pusher to be run from heavy duty AC clutch relay at a later date:

I have mine assembled and ready to go. Just waiting till I drop the engine back in. Did you put weather pack connectors on the original fan harnesses and the Spal fans?

I have had the SPAL twin 12 inch fan kit installed for the last 10 years. Not quite as elegant as Han's kit but functionally just as capable I suspect. Removing my kit takes less than 5 minutes- two screws on the top of the radiator and that is it- I have some lugs mounted at the bottom that slot into the rail at the bottom of my custom radiator.
So easy to work with- I take it Christmas arrived a bit late last year or very early this year!
