Default Re-starting issues

my 1999 carrera cab 996 starts like a champion when it's cold, like when I start it in the morning, but when the car gets in temperature and I shut it off, when I try to start it again after 5-10 minutes or a bit more, it will not start. When I turn the key it just seems like there's not enough power to start the engine. It really sounds like the battery has not enough power. It'll usually finally re-start after several tries but sometimes it needs a boost... battery is new, alternator is new... if I wait until the car gets cold again then it'll start like a champion... battery is not draining. Can it be some kind of a short or ground issue just when the car is warm?? Don't know what to do. - Jacques

Yes, it could. You could start cleaning grounds and fuse panels (never a wasted effort, even if that's not the problem) or ...
You might try searching and/or posting in the 996 forum.
