Does it only happen when you wash the car or drive in the rain?
Is the socket rusted, do you have the correct single filament bulb 1156 IIRC, is it the same on both sides?
Need some history, more info, else just stabbing at it.
What is the condition of the connector at the Lamp Controller, they can get wet and corrode

Moisture is the bulb-killer. There isn't much more that the battery-electrical system can do to a bulb electrically that isn't already available when you push on the wide pedal.
Water gets in around the bulb socket seal, through cracks in the lamp housing, and maybe around the wires in the socket if they've been changed for lesser pieces.
Do you see or otherwise sense moisture in the housing after you remove the bulb and socket? That would be the telltale.
