Who owns this Weissach edition 928 on Big Dave's site and in the photos above? It is a real looker...love those wheels too. D'oh...sorry, I see that "sueden" (Dennis) owns it...kudos!!!

The 2002 C&D calendar had a 1982 928 on April 17th. The description was:
"In 1982, we called the 928 the perfect example of a GT car. It's also the symbol of corporate planners gone haywire. At one time, Porsche expected the front-engine 928 to replace the rear-engine 911. "Nein!" shouted Porsche-philes. Today the 928 is dead, and the 911 is more popular than ever."
I guess "dead" is a reative term.

If the wheels aren't original, is it still a Weissach? Eye of the beholder sort of thing, but those concours requirements are pretty strict. Just wondering.

It's still a Weissach edition IMHO, but he's changed the wheels and a few other items to improve performance.
I don't think he bothers with concours.
