Default Have you seen our newest famous 928?

Dennis ("sueden") has his Weissach's picture in the 2004 Car & Driver Dream Cars car-a-day calendar.

Sorry I couldn't scan it in color, but you get the idea:

Default Dennis' Weissach

When I saw his car last Spring I don't know if I was more impressed with the car or his co-ordinated wardrobe: shirt, pants, belt and boots.

The 2002 C&D calendar had a 1982 928 on April 17th. The description was:

"In 1982, we called the 928 the perfect example of a GT car. It's also the symbol of corporate planners gone haywire. At one time, Porsche expected the front-engine 928 to replace the rear-engine 911. "Nein!" shouted Porsche-philes. Today the 928 is dead, and the 911 is more popular than ever."

I guess "dead" is a reative term.

Default Changed?

If the wheels aren't original, is it still a Weissach? Eye of the beholder sort of thing, but those concours requirements are pretty strict. Just wondering.

It's still a Weissach edition IMHO, but he's changed the wheels and a few other items to improve performance.

I don't think he bothers with concours.
