Default S4+ Head Plugs & Temp Probe Torque?

I'm sure I've overlooked it somewhere in the WSM, but does anyone know the torque on the plugs an probes? I was thinking the same as the block drains but I'm not sure. Thanks in advance.

The torque settings in the / some of the WSM's for the block drain plugs is wrong and far too high. That setting will / can strip threads. I would not use that setting as a guide for anything.

Per the technical bulletin about moving the sensors from cylinders 4 and 8 to 3 and 7 per the 1991 set up the plugs get new sealing rings and 15 ft/lbs, the adapters for the sensors get new sealing rings and 15 ft/lbs and the retaining fasteners for the sensors get 7 ft/lbs.

Thanks Mike!!! That's what I was trying to find. I knew they had moved the sensors in later years, but if I'm reading that correctly, the '87 thru '90 cars should move them to 3 and 7 as well??Thanks again.

The sensors were only used on 1989 and up cars IIRC.
