Default Rear quarter rubber question

Hi,
A year into owning my S2 and working through my todo list I'm now installing the rear quarter window trim that was included with the car. The right hand side is now fitted but the strip of rubber that goes under the rear corner piece is missing from the left side, I think the weather strip on that side is a non spoiler version.
The weatherstrip is NLA, and even if I could buy it, I don't fancy taking the glass out.
Anyone encountered a similar problem or have any cunning suggestions, I was wondering if a bit of similar rubber could be stuck to the glass in the right position as an alternative?

Thanks gir any help.

Thanks Stan, the correct weatherstrip for an S2s style spoiler has a separate strip of rubber that sandwiches between the trim and the glass

I have a new S type rear quarter window rubber seal that I think is what you are looking for, for the drivers side. I don't intend to use it in any of my projects since I will likely try to eliminate the S spoiler in any conversion or restoration I might do in the future. If this is what you are looking for and if you are interested I'll try to find what I paid for this and pass it off to you for the same, plus shipping; or we can figure out an agreed price between us.

The separate piece of rubber you are referring to is actually an integral part of the S style window seal.

My part number is: 928 543 046 04. Here are some pictures:

Sorry Jerry, just checked the part number and yours is for the right side rather than left. Thanks for the offer though

OOPS, I'm glad you checked. I looked it over pretty well and decided it was for the left. My mistake. Actually when I first drafted my previous post I thought I had both left and right, but I can only find this one now.

Edit: There are a couple of these on eBay in the UK for about GBP 115.
