So, I've had a junkyard quality 79 928 for a few weeks now. She looks even more junkyardish now that I've removed the door panels as I've begun the restoration. But six figure turbos and exquisite vintage 911's let me over in traffic, honk, wave, and stop me to admire her. The love and respect in the Porsche community is amazing.

Hey JParrish, Sounds like a cool project. Do you have experience from restoring other types of cars?
Keep us in the loop on what you are doing please, many will be very interested and be happy to lend advice. May I suggest you start a new thread with a different name so more are apt to take a look.
Looking forward to hearing more about it.
