Well my dad emailed me a couple pictures from 2012 when the car has been sitting for a few months.

Now this weekend I will get her home, outside and cleaned up and post some more.

Maybe, I am going on what I was told. I will be 100% Saturday when I load the car.

If it has 19k miles and is one owner it is likely a very collectible car. I would ask the question if the car is worth more to restore it to stock, versus the cost to so. A 1987 S4 with 19k miles is worth some strong money, if stock.

Yeah it has 19K one owner miles. Sat most of its life since my dad really didn't drive it.

I think his dad, being of an age would use the word 'Paxton' as a generic term for a centrifugal SC setup. As one would use the term 'Xerox' to mean a copy, although it may not have been done on a Xerox machine.

Paxton was the early period setup for several cars in the 60s and 70s. Studebaker being one of them. McCulloch was another, but Paxton was more well known.

That is Murf928 Stage 1 kit, the original version with a Vortech supercharger. Stock injectors with a Vortech VMU increasing fuel pressure under boost.

Current Stage 1 kits come with 42lb injectors with custom chips for fuel & ignition. Keep me posted as this project progresses and I can help you out if you would like to upgrade the kit to eliminate the FMU.

The Cry02 system is interesting.

Your profile says Spring Hill, FL for your location, where is the 928?

Looks similar to Murf kit I installed in 2004:

It uses a Vortex SC.

I guess Hacker beat me to the response...

I will take your word it is a Murf Stage 1. I have no idea what I will be doing with it. Cry02 was installed at the same time as the kit.

There is no doubt, Tim Murphy lives down the road from me and my car was the 2nd prototype.
That bracket is unique to Tim's kit, it's a dead giveaway.

That was never part of the kit. We only offered a Stage 1 (which you have) or a stage 2 with an intercooler. Not saying that is a bad thing, just not a part of the kit we ever designed or tuned around.
