As part of the sHARk family Weissach owners have, basically, a Limited Edition version with special paint, wheels, interior, spoiler pkg, and perhaps luggage -if you are lucky- .
Ever wonder if there was a stash of Euro engined Weissach's?
Supposedly, all of them headed for our shores, but, you never know...
Pattycakes is stock except for the exhaust and a switch to all new glass type, euro 'torpedo' fuses and the oft maligned K&N filter.
I know what you are saying about the change of paint but after going to a few sHARk gatherings I have to say that almost all have been modified or changed in some manner or another.
Wether it's wheels, exhaust, a Momo, a Jeager Tip, stereo, door panels, carpet, or engine, suspension, tranny mods it's still a change.
Granted not as eye-popping as gold to plum, but changes none-the- less.
Personally, I was worried that the paint could not be matched or feathered when the hit and run monster took out my left rear quarter panel.
Not to worry the paint is available.
This particular paint - if you dote on your sHARk - actually changes color thru the course of the day and sunset/dusk here in Texas flips me out as that's when Pattycakes really shows her stuff. In short I will not do anything to alter her for looks or HP.
Having said that, my next sHARk will be named GRONK! And, hopefully, Murph and crew will have a technical hand in making 'that sHARk' live up to it's name.
Along the lines of staying stock... what do you propose for the interiors when they inevitably go? The pod is no problem but the dash, interior quarters and seats will put us in the poor house
