Has anyone ever seen this setup before? I have seen lots of posts with automatic shifters before but not like this. Did the PO cobb this together?

Mine is very similar. Added by previous owner so no idea of the brand/manufacturer.

 

Thanks Guys, I'm going to see if I can make it more secure. In the newly re-released version, how is it held in place?

 

The boot I mean. The one I have has 2 sided tape installed

I can't wait to get my new 5 speed shift.

 

Been running one of these from Paul for years. I ditched the auto boot and put a 5-speed boot on as it fits as the factory designed it to fit. All you have to do is remove the auto shifter assembly from the console.
