Spokane PCA Parade, July 9-15

With help from Chris in Spokane, we now have two evening events planned. Saturday night, July 8th, starting at 6pm, we have a room booked at The Onion Taphouse and Grill (http://theonion.biz/). It is two blocks from the Davenport Grand, so easy walking.
Then on Monday, July 10th, starting at 6:30pm, we have tables reserved at The Boiler Room (http://boilerroompizza.com/). This one is a short drive from the Davenport and the folks there are looking forward to seeing our cars in their parking lot!
Both of these are casual, pub type places with good food and multiple beers on tap. Something for everyone. We’ll be ordering off the menus and they are willing to do individual checks, so no deposit required!
We’ll be arriving on Saturday with Sunday devoted to prepping for the Concours on Monday. Sunday night is the Parade Welcome Party and one more opportunity to hang around together.
It would be fun to do a group drive on Tuesday. We can talk about it when we are together in Spokane.
Hope to see all of you starting on Saturday. Please let me know if you will be coming so we have an approximate number for the restaurants. Post here, send me a PM or email to: sue (at) siriuscyber (dot) net.
Don’t forget, official Parade event registration starts Monday morning, 9am PDT.

For now we signed up for the dinners (opening night and the concours dinner), but no events... car is not concours worthy...and figured we'll probably do some 928 specific drives rather than the PCA ones..

No Concours for me either, not driving my 928. will be in the 997. Doing the welcome dinner, concours dinner, and one guided tour. Ive got family relatives in Coeur D'Alene, so we will go see them too.

We're there for the week: Saturday eve 928 gathering,
Sunday is concours prep and evening welcome party,
Monday is the concours and the evening 928 dinner,
Tues is a 928 drive and the concours dinner in the evening,
Wednesday is an afternoon beer tasting and we signed up for the dinner cruise,
Thurs is autocross for modified classes (we don't do well on street tires but it is fun),
Friday we're doing one of the organized PCA drives to Schweitzer Mountain.
There is also a PCA DE event on Sunday at Spokane Raceway that we are considering.
As a good but departed friend said many times: Anything worth doing is worth overdoing.
