Yes:
Keith's 1980 was awarded first place in Preparation/Full,
Chris's '87 S4 was second in Prep/Street,
Robin's Cassis Red '87 was third in Prep/Street, and
Thomas's '86.5 was second in Preservation/Full class.

The 928 was in a "transaxle" group along with 924, 944, 951 and 968.

The "Preparation" classes on preparation and cleanliness. Originality is not judged-- i.e. different wheels, different mirrors etc are all OK. "Street" means interior/exterior only are judged; "Touring" means interior/exterior plus engine and storage; and "Full" means all that plus chassis and suspension.

The "Preservation" class is all about originality. Numbers must match, and everything needs to be original. This is a tough class and special congrats to Thomas for a second (winner was an immaculate 968).

Congratulations all!!

I'm ready to go back tomorrow I had such a great time! The 928 friends made this a special event for me that will never be forgotten. I want to also thank Sue and Jim for all their influence towards this great adventure. Great to hang with Chris, Mark & Ursula, Adam & Sue, Tom & Chris and our first place winner Keith and Robyn and husband. Who'd I forget? I also had time well spent with Bill V., I have a solid sunburn to show for this.
Until next time take care,

my friends.
Thomas

and then Mt Shasta (hwy 197 turn out)

and then Crater Lake

Nice roads up 97 in Oregon to the Washington boarder and along the Columbia River.

and then upon arriving in Pasco for the night, a nice dinner at Anthony's on the River, watching all the boaters come in from a day on the river.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we parked and found the Corenman's cleaning there 928

Among many others obsessively cleaning their Porsches

This guy had the Q-tips out....and won their Class.

We did check-in in the ballroom

and then I HAD to wash my car. the event provided cleaning supplies and the dock area for attendees to do this.

upon heading down for the welcome party Sunday night, I spotted Keith unloading from the 11th floor.

The Pirelli welcome Party/dinner. German style and it was good!

Following the dinner, my wife and I went for a walk around the river.

The 997 put to bed for the night in a garage filled with about 1000 Porsches. In good company.

The next morning we checked out a neat local, breakfast place.

and then headed over to the concours. Glad I did not have to get up at 5am this time!!! The event was held on a public park along the river just across from the hotel.

Kept bumping into Dan Rowland (From SAC) with his wife and friends at the event!

the GTS in the Historic Display

the long line for the schwag from Porsche.

the attendance of Dr Oliver Blume from Porsche AG was special, and a fist for a Parade event. He was very impressed.

You gotta love a 959.
