Default Keeping your car safe.

Lets say you ahve to park you car in a public lot for a few days. Airport trip or something.

What do you do to keep you car safe?

I know Porsche has a dang effective key system that is hard to pick, and difficult to open doors.

Anything else?

Park it close to the attendant's booth.

Pull a certain relay.

Leave an active beehive in the car?

I have the original alarm and Immobilizer PLUS an extra alarm and an extra immobilizer. The car is always parked in a normal parking building in the center of my town except for when I tuck it away for winter saving in a secret location.

So far so good.

Default Drive the Ford P.O.S Pickup

Thats why I dropped a whopping $1500 for it. It's disposable.
The 928 is priceless.

It's a bit risky, but you might consider leaving your car at an airport hotel [Marriott or Hyatt] and sneaking on their courtesy van. DON'T forget to tip the driver! They probably won't realize that your car is not owned by a guest- but look in windows to make sure that there is not some sort of pass that guests are given and told to leave on the dashboard.

The way that I keep my 928 safe? Airport car- '97 Ford Aerostar that I just bought. I have an employee parking pass for MCO.

After you’ve parked close to the attendant, fed your alligator and pulled your relay, don't forget the boot

You know, maybe just stiking it in the long term lot at IAH would not be such a bad idea- just put it at the edge of the parking lot, under a light-

Trunk monkey sounds good, but if you're not there, how do you push the button to release him?

I like the pull the relay move (I've certainly had a lot of experience with the relays lately).
