1 week to go.
Departing Thursday early from the "Great White North".
Will be running Glympse for anyone that wants to connect on the fly.
tag: sitm20
I just hope I get my car sorted in time.

Edit. New rack going in tomorrow then alignment on Wednesday. Doh!
And for gylmpse you just need to share your location to the tag. You basically set up like your starting a tag yourself, then they all connect.

Posted this on the SITM thread. I guarantee you that if you drive 'the Tail of the Dragon from the TN side, it's a road/drive/ride you will never forget!!

Anyone who is attending SITM and wants a GREAT drive, I recommend the 'Tail of the Dragon', but approach it from the TN side. I drove it last week on the way to a BMW event in Asheville NC, and really loved the sharp corners, steep road going up from TN. Frankly I found the NC side of the 'tail' pretty 'ho hum'. Enjoy it if you do, and keep the tires on the road surface. Lots of bikes, but whenever I caught up to one or a group of them, they were very courteous and pulled off to the side at the first opportunity and let me pass. The 20 year old BMW 840Ci loved those climbing curves.
Have a good time at SITM
