Anyone one have a 928 with both heated seats and rear A/C? I don't think any of the cars posted in the For Sale sticky ever had both and I don't remember coming across it when I was searching for mine.

Anyway just curious how rare that is. I suspect very.

I have them both in my 88 and a couple other very nice options 5spd and LSD 😄

A little spreadsheet massage shows the following:

7191 cars had rear air, worldwide, '85 to '95.
10854 had a left heated seat.
10133 had a right heated seat.

1456 had rear air and two heated seats.
174 had rear air and a left heated seat only
45 had rear air and a right heated seat only.


For whatever that's worth.

EDIT: My GTS has both rear air and 2 heated seats.

Just picked up an 88 that has rear air, heated memory seats both sides, no sunroof and LSD

look for something more rare... like power sport seats with lumbar. I had to make my own since they didn't exist.

Nice work. So that's less than 3% of all cars built and less than 6% of those built when those options were available. Pretty rare indeed.

Now if it were pink with a purple interior it would be very " rare " . And remember by definition rare means they could not sell more that way Why are there only 60,000 or so 928s.....they could NOT SELL ANY MORE !! Production capacity was designed at about 5,000 per year So while Porsche easily could have made 90,000 928s ....the world would only absorb far less.
