Been slowly working on it here and there when the house is quiet. A few more pieces of firesheild, and heat shrink and solder on the 14 pin connector and she's done. Regardless of some of the negative comments, I have enjoyed virtually every minute of this project. Not for everyone, don't get me wrong. For me though, it was the right thing to do. Plus it only cost about $250.00 for all the materials.

looks like you did a nice job ,
FWIW my suggestion was aimed at saving you time and energy to have a new harness for your machine.
Since you did not need to have that as a priority and your skilled at wire MFG carry on!

I got you Stan. No biggie. Thank you much. Yeah I definitely don't think it's for everyone, but if you have the knowledge, tools, and TIME (LOL) then it's a fun project. If I was trying to get a car going quickly, I'd definitely have gotten one of Sean's thru Roger. Definitely a quality piece.

Was originally going with standard aero type orange fire sleeve, and needed one more piece. Went to purchase that piece and found some in blue, and just had to switch. LOL. Been going for a blue/silver color scheme in the engine bay, so it just seemed right. I still have to solder on the 14 pin but other than that, she's done.

Chris, if you're original harness is roached, and you're just looking for a replacement, I have an 87/88 harness you can have.

Nice work! I have my harness all laid out for my 85S but haven't made any progress on it. Need to find time! Maybe this thread will be the kick in the butt I need.

Thanks for the offer Jim, but I'm enjoying my "build it from scratch" project. 'Preciate it though. :-)

LOL Stan. :-)

Thanks Bertrand!!

Dan, jump on it! Personally I am enjoying the hell out of it. Been very cathartic for me.

BTW, with any luck I'll be dropping the engine back in before the end of the month. (Fingers crossed) Goal is to try and get at least one test drive in before having total knee replacement on the right knee on July 13th. :-(

That is fantastic. I wish I had the patience and skill to take on this task but a man's got to know his limits so I bought one of Sean's through Roger.
