Fuse panel parts or replacement
Hello felow Porsche fans?
I am in need of your assistance. Was unable to locate any good threads on my fuse panel issue.
As you can see in the photos, I am missing a fuse.
I have the fuses, but I seem to be missing the upper tab to hold the fuse in place.
The last owner said he broke it off.
It looks as if a new clip could just slide on and be used, if said clip can be purchased.
Anyone know if it can be bought or If I need to get a scrap fuse panel.
Also, my fuse panel has a wood panel cover in it, 1980. Is this right?
Thanks all

Can you use a upper tab from a not used/spare fuse port. Check this thread for your MY 80 CE Panel, to find a not used port.

All MY CE Panel covers are wood.
Also, it looks like your CE Panel could use a cleaning and DeOxit.

Which fuse slot?
Keep in mind that each model year (MY) has a few open slots. Putting fuses in them can/will create issues.
And, as noted above, all of them had the plywood cover. Seems a bit odd at first, but it's lightweight, strong and non-conductive.

Thanks for the info guys,
All of my fuse ports had been filled by the PO.
I ended up using one from a unused slot. I'll see about picking some extras up at a junk yard.
The wood is ruff. I ended up having to reassemble it due to falling apart.
Good to see it is stock wood, I'll keep it and reduce the finish.
