Big thanks to Ed, Ann, Rick and the Allegheny Region of PCA for a great event. PVGP is an awesome event that everyone should make a point to get out to. I think I have to make it at least a 5 day trip to take in all the activities and what Pittsburgh has to offer.
Wow what an event this year. It was the best yet. Seeing so many Frenzy friends and meeting some new folks in person from here was fantastic. Also, having no one and six together for the first time in four decades, plus both winning some hardware to boot, really made it for me personally this year. Looking forward to seeing everyone at Frenzy!
(More pics to follow later after I catch my breath)
And much thought about yesterday's event and selections of awesome 928's. I believe my favorite car was Rick's "black beauty". The car was outstanding inside and out......
Wow Brian, thanks so much for the compliments on my car. That is really cool!
What a super last couple days. From having Bertrand over on Thursday evening, to sitting around dead tired with a the PVGP volunteers at 5:30 today after all the activities were over and almost all the cars were gone. I enjoyed every minute of it!
Thanks to everyone one of my 928 friends that came. New friends and old friends. YOU ALL, make these kinds of events so fun.
I'll be posting some pictures soon too, when I'm able to keep my eyes open a little longer...zzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZ

^^Glen's right...lots of things to do in Pittsburgh. Dinner at Alla Famiglia last night and National Aviary today. Great weekend T
Fun times..notice how we all have a glass of wine but tony has a whole bottle?
Yes..old bartender/nightclub owner here and service is in the blood. Bartender/waitress was pretty busy so took the liberty of keeping everyone's wine glass filled to the proper level Thank you Beautiful MB 500E near the Porsche corral...built in collaboration with Porsche T https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_500_E
Sorry we missed Sunday, we had prior commitments. Saturday was a perfect day in a perfect location for the PGVP / 928 40th birthday. After some consideration my favorite car in our group was the red/tan GTS, or perhaps Stan's Pearlglanz, no wait it was the Mokka, Rick's mile-deep black S, maybe #6, Brian's pinstripe 78, Bertrand's S4, the coral GT, Alex's 80 euro, Otto's blue-pearl dream, The FAT GT...no, Bob's red GT, the truth is I can't decide. Cheryl pointed out to me that I had said "this is the best 928 here" while viewing each of these cars.
Maybe there is no "best" but all are thoughtful and talented executions by passionate owners. While we all wanted and shopped for a 928 there is a significant amount of chance of how each of us end up with a particular car, then we apply our vision to the preparation, preservation, and care of it. Fantastic showing by ALL participants, thank you to all of the volunteers who spent the day working so we could have fun.
THANK YOU all for your pictures. Even though I could not attend this year, the pictures reminded me of HOW MUCH I missed by losing a bit of my health!!!
One of the things I think made the show great was the hustle that Andrew and Jim did on #1 and 6 to make sure they were here for the event. Knowing they would be here, and Ed's big easy way of cajoling us all to come made it a great event.

Well, if anyone can say it more eloquently than Andrew just did...l dare them to try.
