One week to the really big show.
On July 14th & 15th (Fri & Sat) the 928 Buckeye Landsharks will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Porsche 928 at the Arthritis Foundation's Classic Auto Show in Dublin, OH. This event is HUGE with over 1,200 exotic and classic automobiles and this year the Porsche 928 is one of the Featured Marques! If you wish to show your Shark for PCA Concourse Judging, People's Choice, or just to display you may register online or at the entrance for Fri or Sat or BOTH!
We need a good Gathering of Sharks at this event so to further entice you, there will be FOOD, liquid refreshments
& shade for all registered Porsche owners.
We'll have the best venue at the show with all Porsches parked on the grass near the pond - no "sweating to the oldies" sitting in the middle of a paved parking lot! There will be LOTS of trophies including 10 very nice AF Show Plaques (one for each Porsche Class), an overall Best of Show Plaque (Concourse Only) and three, 3 foot tall, trophies for Longest Drive, Best Modifications & Best Engine Bay for a total of 14 trophies in all. Please come out and show off you Shark with the rest of the club while supporting a worthy cause... a cure for Arthritis.

Nate, hope you can put us on the route to Pittsburgh. Friday?
This looks like a lot of fun. Would we have to show on both Friday and Saturday? The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is the same week but I think the show portion for Porsche starts on Saturday. Ed could you confirm? I am driving in from Seattle for the PVGP and maybe able to participate in this as well if the days work out.

FYI, the North TX PCA club is featuring a group of 928s assembled by Roger Tyson at their breakfast meeting this Saturday to honor the 40th. Here's the link.

Good luck with the event Mike. This weekend is supposed to be great weather. Hopefully Friday will not be a washout. We've had some serious rain for PVGP events thus far.
