There should be 3 crush rings for the check valve if I recall correctly. The one fat one for the check valve inlet and 2 more equal width rings for each side of the metal line.
Why use any crush washers at all? Why not just torque down the steel lines and the nuts until they don't leak and start to deform? Doesn't everybody do it that way?
