As an alumnus of the University of Texas, I can only say I am in full agreement of your colour choice. Ah the burnt orange of the UT Longhorns. I don't know if this translates into the southern hemisphere, but...do you know why the sunset is burnt orange? well it's because God is a Longhorn fan.

I stripped mine down to the bare metal also. I went to my local Prosche dealer to look at the cars in the show room and on the lot before I made my choice. What ever you do use Glazurit paint if you have the choice. Apply 4-5 coats of clear, and after1-2 days wet sand it until its smooth as glass. Start off with 1200 and finish with 1800. Take your time. I had over 25 hours of sanding into my car after it was painted. It was well worth it.
