Default Tire for spare?

Are replacement tires for the spare available or is it a one time use type item? My spare is completely shot and the tire looks like a weird size....

I have never seen replacements.... note that new Porsches are NOT fitted with one at all....

A can of Green Slime and a small air compressor will fix most flats except for a large blowout, most Auto Stores carry a ~$20.00 kit
I wouldn't trust many of those original collapsible spares to get very far, although some have been lucky w/ them

Edit: like Jim said Porsche and a lot of new cars do not come with them, just a kit.

I have one that someone used and it still hasn't collapsed back all the way, valve stem is removed. Going to try the ratchet strap method again now that it has been sitting.

IMO driving on them makes a big difference, cool vid I was waiting for it to pop

When it really matters would you use a 30 year old condom ?? One that has been riding around in a car being repeatedly cooked and frozen......

In a recent episode of Jay Leno's garage he hit the highway in a Lamborghini still riding on the original 26 year old tires.

What is the worst that can happen, the 2nd tire goes flat? Hardly not worth the risk to at least get out of harms way.

Valve core.

A few years ago I had a blow out on my S4 and inflated the spare and drove the car home about 65 miles trying to keep the speed under 55, but reaching 65 a few times. I let the air out and put it back in the well and it still looks perfectly new.

The complete spare with tire is still readily available for $450.

Your A/C vacuum pump will do the trick.
