Roger has top notch service, is highly regarded and is universally considered a good guy with fair prices.
Since I am just a hobbyist , I do most of my part shopping at weird hours. This makes vendors like http://www.928intl.com/ and http://928gt.com/ very appealing.

Google makes it pretty easy once you have the part number. Most of us go out of our way to support the people who specialize in 928 rather than sites that just offer the parts or have access to a database.

Finding other owners close to you is always very helpful and enhances the 928 experience.

Over 16 years of 928 ownership and I've never spent a penny at Pelican.

I have used Pelican for other cars, only suggestion is make sure you have correct part number and model year info before ordering. There are some parts with same part number but different versions between the model years and that isn't always apparent or even correct when ordering.

The vendors on here know 928s and I haven't found pricing to be significantly discounted at other larger vendors. Also the time lost when the part isn't' correct and you have to send back and reorder is definitely worth a few $$ more as I usually have limited to work on the cars.

Last, the 928 vendors go out of their way to put 928 at the top of the list when it comes to getting things returned to production, finding alternative fixes etc. I would guess that 928 specific sales are pretty low for Pelican, Suncoast, and other multi car / manufacturer vendors.

Lots of good vendors out there. Seemingly oddly, I've never spent a penny with Roger.

I like 928 International for a lot of things, new and used. They're king of used 928 parts.

I'll get the occasional thing off eBay. Some parts will be cheap there and sometimes vendors toss in free shipping on single parts.

I like Pelican, Vertex and other "euro car" suppliers as well.

Recently, I've gotten a couple of orders from RMEuropean. They're clearly doing drop-shipping, and don't offer all parts, but the prices were super-low and real parts showed up.

You have to be careful with non-dedicated 928 (or Porsche) parts sources. Recently a local friend called me up, found a screaming deal on the 928 steering rack from a couple online sources.

I looked into it, they were selling a 924 rack as interchangeable with the 928.

I've got Porsche parts from Pelican for the 996 but not for the 928. Then, I heard 928RUs sells 996 and all other Porsche parts too so from now on, I will keep them in mind for all Porsche parts not just for the 928.
