Yes Roger is old fashioned....he actually likes to talk with people. Reality is all the vendors even on line drop shippers are buying the same parts from the same wholesalers SSF, IMC, WORLDPAK were a few . In L A you get multiple deliveries from multiple wholesalers every day. Those same wholesalers deliver to the independent repair shops. If you are a higher volume business you can negotiate lower prices.
Autozone purchased IMC a couple years ago to expand there coverage of European parts so interesting business.
What you get from 928 specific vendors is in depth knowledge of what fits what does not and what usually fails or what other parts are needed to finish the job....

Yes, Roger really needs to put something clearly on his web site that states that not everything he can supply is in the web store.........OH wait, he does! READ PEOPLE!

928s R Us can get the parts you need for the care and feeding of your Shark. Our small online store lists just a few of our most popular specialty items. These are just the tip of the iceberg concerning the 928 parts we can provide.

I always reach out either online or by phone with the vendors here if I don't see something I need listed on their website. 9 times out of 10 they have it.

Keep in mind that supporting our 928 specific vendors allows them to support our 928 events and also to spur innovation for our cars. A better than stock radiator released recently, EOL parts engineered and released by third parties funded by our 928 suppliers keep these cars on the road. The big parts dealers are not doing this level of support keeping parts available for our cars. Give them a chance first and if you can't find it through them, try the Pelicans of this world next.

928sRus for me downunder.

I am a newb to the 928, therefore I rely on people like Roger to understand what I need. (oh and Laura also!!)

I don't even bother to look at their "online inventory" I just ask.

A quick email with my VIN included and that's it, they nail it every time, emails me a copy of the order, I accept, and it's on it's way, lands here at my door in NZ 6 days later!!!

I have a tie rod assembly on the way as I type this (at Los Angeles now according to the tracker).

I am a loyal shopper, it just happens that Roger was the first supplier I tried (based on comments on this site of course), I would much rather have the correct part ONCE, rather than send it back and waste my time over incorrect parts.

928 International is another with a great rap sheet downunder.

After I first got my shark, I feed it with the cheapest parts I could find online. It was a waste of time. My shark may show its age, but it still has a refined palate, and prefers the personalized service only our 928 vendors can provide. It's so much easier to pick up the phone and call Roger or send an email to 928International. The parts are correct and high quality, and the service is timely.

I order all my used parts from 928 International and hold Mark and Tom in the highest esteem - true professionals. I also do not believe in reinventing the wheel and when Mark develops a new product I prefer to buy from him and support his efforts.
Mark & I compete on new products and competition is good for you the 928 owners.

Yes I am "old school" and prefer to offer help and advice to any 928 owner who cares to ask - the best way to do that is personally by email or by phone. I also get it that some people prefer to "click and buy" just not my business model. If it is on a 928 and available I sell it - pretty simple.

We are so lucky to have such innovative individuals as part of the 928 community - Greg Brown, Hans Servaas, Colin Jensan, Sean Ratts, Carl Fausett, Ken Lauridsen to name a few.

Support the people who support you.

I always figured that many of the click and buy folks were doing so in the relative privacy of their cubicle or office while "working" But as long as you stay with the 928 Parts professionals odds are you will get what you need !!! When you need it !

In the last month, we have invested nearly $40,000 into our inventory of parts in stock. We have more items in stock now than we have ever had before.

But we are different from most of the other vendors - where they sell mostly OEM 928 parts and maybe a performance part here or there; we sell mostly performance upgrades for the 928. We do offer OEM parts too as a service to our customers, but it is not our mainstay.

Please review our website. I think you will find it very informative and helpful.

Let me know if there is anything you may need.

Although I have yet to purchase from them I have found 928 Specialists' website very informative and a good place to go for quick tips and technical info.
