no Castrol for me ,I had it have viscosity breakdown a few times,
Valvoline VR1 for the win

for all my vehicles, I use Mobil 1 oil, but it's based on results, not internet prose

I use Valvoline Synthetic 20W50 for my 944's. I had a 951 for 20+years and put 500K miles on it. I had the engine rebuilt once (at 185k), another set of con-rod bearings, and another top end rebuild. I used the same oil.

Since the 928 is a different engine, I was hoping to get some insight on what works great for the 928.

You came to the wrong place. Suggest you find economics forum and pose question about deficit spending and lasting impacts to wage inflation. Likely get better answers.

Yes...and it will be 15W-50 because of the high zinc content.
