Just remember to never try this with a frozen turkey... check Youtube for the results of that test.

as I posted on FB; fantastic turkey but has to be the most dangerous appliance out there.

I also use the peanut oil but thinner viscosity; Canada is ever so slightly cooler than Rogers beautiful home

^^^ The Butterball electric fryer is a little safer. Unfortunately it's limited to a 20 pound bird. I won one a couple years ago as a door prize. Unlike the propane cooker that I used twice a year, I use the electric all year. Especially for chicken wings. Think of it as a giant Fry Daddy cooker.
