Default Cup II Fitment

What size Cup II (replicas) would I want to run on an '89 928 S4?

Would Front 7.5x17 ET23 and Rear 9 x17 ET15 work? If not, what sizes would I need and would any spacers be needed?

Thanks!

Won't fit. You'd need negative spacers to make them fit....

ET23 is at least 32 mm too little offset in front, the tires would be hard up against the front fenders. And thus spacers would just make it worse. ET15 in back is also a no-go.

Stock 928 Cup IIs were 7.5x17 ET 65, 9x17 ET 55. There are 993 winter wheel Cup II's that came in 8x17 ET 70 and 9x17 ET70 which are great for wider rubber up front but rare and expensive.

Mille Miglia replica Cup IIs are a good choice, albeit soft, fronts are 8.5x18 ET52, and 10x18 ET47. Should be able to run 235s and 285s respectively.

Mille Meglia also made a 17" Cup II replica which were 7.5x17 ET 52 front and 9x17 ET 47 rear which fit the 928 very nicely. You would have to find them used, since they are out of manufacture..

Does this same information apply for Cup I wheels?

Mille also makes an 18" version.

I have a staggered set available:

PM me if you're interested.

Hmmm, my 7.5x17 Cup IIs are ET55, just like the 17x9. Yet a different flavor? I wish they were ET65...
