Default PET Metric sizing..how to decode..

When PET says "Speed Nut 5,5" what size would that be at say, Home Depot, or Grainger, etc?

I think it is an approximation of US SMS (Sheet-metal screw) sizing, but I would get the proper fasteners from Porsche or your favorite parts purveyor.
