88 S4 5 speed LSD for sale - $7k USD
Need some garage space and putting the old girl up for sale. This is the car that I had the fuel leak and engine fire. All that damage is repaired, and more. 221,000 kms on a non working odometer. Here is the good and the bad:
Good:
Timing belt, water pump (Ed's), oil pump, recoated cam gears, pk tensioner. Full intake refresh with new injectors and GB fuel lines. Rebuilt MAF. Motor mounts replaced. New clutch slave. RMB, 997 Carrera III wheels with 225/265 18" tires. Lizard short shifter. Air con and cruise control works. Runs like a scalded cat.
Bad:
Overtorqued silicone oil pan gasket has oil leak at rear of pan (new gasket comes with the car). ABS light comes on immediately when started haven't figured it out yet. Interior needs some work. Poor quality repaint. Rust in door jamb both sides needs to be repaired, but underside and rest of the car is solid.
This car is a perfect track car candidate for someone, or a nice rolling restoration project. Lots of spare parts come with it. Currently has X pipe and shorty cats on it, but will be putting factory H pipe on it before it sells. Also will be taking out aftermarket head unit and replacing with factory Blaupunkt. Priced according to condition and firm, if it doesn't sell I will find some space and do some more work over the winter.
I will post some additional pics later this weekend when I pull it outside.

in the Porsche world I find many see minor rust repair = parts car, but American classics are viewed much differently. My dad had a 66 Mustang that needed frame rails, floor pans, 1/4 panels they were all shot, but we still saved it.

I have solid jams from my '83 I can cut out and sell to you if you're interested. I'm nearing the point of cutting up the chassis as most everything is off the car except for the glass which I'm going to save for my '89 that has that weird plastic film coating that's all scratched up and covered with old city stickers... If you decide to repair it hit me up whenever.

This is a mechanically well sorted car in the "driver" range. I don't think it would have any issues driving from here to anywhere on this continent. That alone and the fact it's a 5-speed LSD S4 is worth more tha $7K. Also, since it is a Canadian spec car, makes it even rarer. The speedo is in km/h and Mph so nothing is needed to federalize it in the US.
