Default Two year anniversary

It's been just over two years since I joined the 928 community, a life-altering event! I was curious enough to review my first and second posts on this forum, to see just how foolish I must have seemed. But what stands out is the incredible degree of help and support I received. Thank you!

In a world full of fools foolishness is normal!

18 years ago as I joined the fold my wife innocently enquired as to whether it was going to be an expensive car to run. I foolishly advised her that it was a Porsche and "they are very reliable". Within 6 months I had to replace the water pump and a snapped drive shaft! 18 years later and much water under the bridge same story really but the expenses are greatly reduced due to knowledge from the likes of this list and the car's better qualities shining through.

Nothing lasts forever and most bits being robust really do last a long time the problem being there are a lot of bits in the car.

My wife still thinks I am foolish and eventually I also came to that conclusion but life would be rather bland if one did not have some "foolishness" in the package.

If with the passage of time you still enjoy owning/driving the car what price foolishness?

Rgds

Yes...and his next post will be him asking for donations or investors...lol.

Happy anniversary, Curt.

Though we have never meet, I've always enjoyed your thoughts and post. My 2-yr is coming up within a month or so...and without this place for moral support...it would have been much tougher to find information.

Brian.
