Default 86.5 23k original miles

Hello all. I have found a 86.5 auto with 23k actual miles. The original owner had a stroke and parked the car inside around 10 years ago. it appears to be in very good shape, with the addition of a Momo wheel and undated Blaupunkt cd player. I expect the usual, tb/wp, intake refresh, drop gas tank, electrical etc. I believe I can get the car for $3-3500, opinions? it would make a nice companion to my 87 S4.

Wow! That kinda sounds familiar. For $3,000-$3,500, it's an absolute no brainer if it's in decent shape. It could be worth ten times that after you sort through it.

Check the title matches the car, write the check, put it on a trailer and get it in your garage asap. Deal with the refurb once it's in your hands.

or -- post up the owner info here and it'll be gone in a few minutes.

Me...I'd keep looking until something with lower mileage and in better condition pops up...for less money.

But, that's just me...lol.

Personally, I wouldn't even care if the title matched...lol...and would probably be the one having a stroke if I got the car for that kind of money.

Brian.

nothing else to add here. This is a no brainer. Just make sure the engine turns - take a large socket and wrench with you.

Bad Deal. Probably should let someone else deal with the hassle. Best to PM me and I'll contact the owner.
