Hi guys, today, with infinite patience, we recorded the cable to ensure that the pedal travel corresponds to an equal movement of the throttle.

We found the bowden wrongly tensioned with a partial wot open and with a lack in the throttle cable.

We moved the accelerator pedal position inside the car to ensure more pedal travel and after we register every bowden

now everything it is ok and the GTS has normal reaction on pedal depression without esitation and Hysteresis.

Also we found a low level fluid in the AT reservoir and we refilled with Dexron II D,

Very special tanks to Francesco, Fred R, No Vector, Randy V for the right advices to solve our little iussue.

Now experiment a bit with the kick down cable itghtening it up to 4 turns tighter than stock- livens the plot up nicely if you are in to that sort of thing as your genes surely demand!

Yes- the design of the system is such that it was intended to start out in 2nd gear and in that regard it works fine. However some folks, myself included, do not like this and it is easily avoided.

Tightening the kick down cable from the stock position to some extent pre-empts this and the car will take off in first gear without any drama. I was advised on this list many years ago to try this, I did and I really liked the effect. Some prefer the stock setup- each to his own preference as it were. With your hand throttle setup this may not suit your specific needs- just be aware of the possibilities and tune to best suit your circumstances.
