911 experince has pushed me towards a 928
Have been internally mulling over the 928 vs 911 discussion with myself for years
Recently had the opportunity to travel in a new(ish) 911 on the Autobarn at some fairly high speeds and was a little disappointed as I thought the ride was harsh and the interior was cramped.
I do a lot of open road driving in the South Island of NZ and I just can't imagine a comfortable 10 hour trip in a 911 - I've got a really well setup V12 Jaguar XJS now and that is an absolute pleasure to drive on the open road and will still do 150mph - it just takes a long time to get there! (very tall gearing)
This leads me back to the 928 - as I want something a little sportier than the XJS and it must be a 5 speed as I want to get back a 'true' driving experience
Hard to find 5 speed 928's in NZ - but i'm on the lookout now, so watch this space
