RH radiator cooling fan stays on
THe RH fan wants to stay on constantly and runs the battery down. I first heard it on when the car had been sitting for a few days. Fortunately I had a battery tender connected to it. The culprit appears to be coming from that module under the hood right behind the bumper. The fan module next to the passenger seat does not seem to be malfunctioning.
Any idea where I can find one of these modules? Right now I am running with the RH fan connected and the car is running on the hot side.
Or any idea what could cause this module to act this way?

whooaa before your throwing parts,
there is some testing diagnosis to perform.
Have you followed the WSM test plan for the cooling fans?
Did you disconnect the temp sensor on top of the manifold to see if the fan stops/ this indicates a bad sender.
Did you swap the right side connector to the left fan to see if it runs?

Dear Pantera928,
WHAT YEAR IS YOUR CAR?
-- Please read the New Visitor's thread at the top of the page, particularly where it mentions that you need to put the year of your car in Every Post.
-- Easiest way to do that is to invest in Rennlist membership, so you can build a signature section that includes this vital information.
-- Otherwise, you can type it in to every post.
-- Without that vital info, questions about fan operation can get you answers that may not apply to your car. Folks will share info they have gained working on their own cars, which may lead you down the wrong path.
Thanks, and best regards,
dr bob
