Default Momo Hub Removal Problem

I’m in the process of installing a momo steering wheel on an 85 US. I followed the instructions from previous posts and it went on without incident. Once I was done I took it for a cruise and noticed
that the wheel wasn’t completely straight, it was 10-20 degrees off center. So I started to take it apart to straighten the hub, but now I can’t get the hub off. I tried pulling as hard as I could with no luck, added a
little WD40 which didn’t help. There doesn’t seem to be a good leverage point to pry it off (not to mention what I might bend) Thought about drilling out new holes in the hub, but that means I’ll never be able to get the
turn signal stalks off again either. Before making this problem worse I thought I might ask if anyone has had this problem or suggestions?

Hmmmmm. I recently installed one and had to pull it out again when I put the LEDs in the POD. As I recall, it was a bit tighter than the original. I think I rocked it from side to side just a bit (pulling on the left then on the right) to get it started.

you can get a wheel/flywheel/pulley puller from a tool shop. much better than levering or drilling which may damage your car and result in further expense!

did you tried with the steering wheel on or just the hub, you would get more leverage with the steering wheel and easier to rock from side to side.

Steering wheel puller is the only way once it's tight. Final wheel adjustment is made by adjusting the tie rods evenly on both sides.
