Ladybug is being put out to pasture...after all of the work you did on her?

Like the new one, though...and it has plenty of potential.

Good luck, with your new project. Look forward to following along (it's always nicer to watch someone else work...lol).

Brian.

Yep. Serving a higher purpose so to speak. Shame that she's worth more in parts than as a whole, but I'm ok with it, never was looking at it as an investment really, but with the new project, I'll get a better return on investment.

i wouldnt worry about the octane requirements too much.
we built the 10.5 5 liter euro and still uses 91 at 290rwhp. ive been running the 11:1 6.5 liter with 375rwhp on pump gas with NO issues at all for over 90 track hours now.

That's was my guess, thank you for confirming

Josh,
I wouldn't worry about getting the chips right now. First get the car running well, if it stutters and bucks like all the other euros have Johns guy rebuild your MAF, then if it runs well add the chips. I have Johns chips installed. Can't tell if they added any hp but I can attest that the drivability improved quite a bit. You will also need to check to see that you don't have the earlier brains like I did as the earlier brains (I think it was the lh) don't have removable chips. If thats the case you can pick up a 32v lh and use that. When you get there let me know and I'll get the pn you need.

That's awesome thx. I know I have a long way to go before I get to that stage but I'm taking the advise as it comes in and filing it away for when the time comes. In the meantime, i still have a weekend or two of paint correction ahead of me to get the body squared away. But I'm really happy that I won't have to have it repainted. It looked grim at first glance.

Hello I have an 85 euro and i have John's chips but have not put them in yet. The car goes like stink for a stock 5-liter engine but I hope to get a little more power out of it with the chips and 4 hole injectors and one or two other things. Its quick a automobile for what it is. Best wishes and good fun,Ray
