Default The new motor- some pictures

Someone asked for some pictures of my new 87-88 motor that I have for sale. The price is still $8,500.00 and my wife will finish the red PORSCHE srcipt on the DS cam cover (painted with high temp caliper paint).

Wayne--You should have no problem after showing that pic. You know with the right background and blown up. I hang that picture on my wall.

So Jim, there are not even any new GTS engines out there??

I would think that with the GTS oil consumption problem there would be a few of these out there.........maybe not.........

Jim,

You're not helping matters you know. The blood and sperm banks can only take so much.

Wayne,

Please don't show us any more images... I'm dying here, I want that engine soooooo much.

A few years ago Porsche had no new GTS engines ..... I do not believe they have any $50,000 GTS engines sitting waiting now ..... Obviously I have not tried to order one !!! What on earth would I do if they SENT one !! Just imagine the comments if I offered one for sale on this forum for $40,000 or so ........ Porsche did put several engines in the executive GTS company cars prior to offering them for sale to the public .

Was that for sale or just on display ? Some of the engines were only partially completed to be used only for display purposes . One "new" 85-86 engine we had had no pistons or rods in it !! It turned over really easy .
