Any of these going into a track car, cut out part of the tunnel to keep it exposed like many 911 shifter assemblies are.

The clamp portion fits perfectly. Plenty of grip that a tie-plate is not even necessary.

I will try and get this TT bolted to a loose trans later this week and get some shifting video.

First shifts with the production clamp. Excuse the sloppy operation - balancing a camera and loose trans while shifting with your left hand is a bit awkward.

I will try and get some better footage up, and do a comparison from stock throw to a reduced throw.

I would, it makes the job much easier. Removing the front link, stock guide bearing, and foam with the TT in the car is a challenge, and I think harder than dropping the tube.

I just had a loose trans and TT in the garage, so decided to use them for the install test.

The clamp is designed so it could be installed in the car if you can weasel out the the stock foam and front link.

The foam does need to be modified by cutting out the section where the new clamp protrudes. It is much easier to do this fitting with the TT out of the car.

I have completed some write-ups for installation. I am attaching them to this post for your reference.

Looking forward to getting some feedback.

Thanks
Hans

I have a couple more sets of parts coming back from the anodizer tomorrow if anyone else would like to give the new setup a try. It will probably be the last batch I run for some time.
