Default Anyone reproduce the "Unleaded Fuel Only" decal for the rear hatch glass?

Posted this in the 924 forum, but relevant here since it's the same P/N.

my '88 924 is original and in pretty good shape but the "Unleaded Fuel Decal" is coming apart and I'd like to replace it. Turns out, the one on my 928 is the same P/N and is also looking ratty.

Looks like the 477.000.258 decal is NLA from Porsche. This is the "Unleaded Fuel Only" sticker that is reversed and is inside the rear hatch glass.

Several sites show it for sale, so I tried ordering from them, but the orders were later rejected as NLA.

So does anyone reproduce it? I'd like to buy a few..

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure I got mine from Roger (928sRus).

I got mine from Roger too. I recommend getting at least two though. Personally I found it hard to reach around and get it straight and where it belongs without creasing it. I think next time I'll spray the window with some lightly soapy water so I can slide it where I want it and then squeegee it. Similar to window tint.

As you may see, I had the same problem. Between the "L" and the "E" in UNLEADED there's a crease. I only bought one. Not sure if it's in the correct spot though.

I am pretty certain I have them in stock - $1.50 each.
I will check on Monday when I am back in the office.

Default FOUND THEM! New Repops!

Hey guys, new member here - just signed up immediately, to spread the word. I've been looking for these off and on over the past few years as well, don't seem to exist. However, today, I ORDERED A PAIR! This place is in the UK, will ship to the USA (or wherever!) and is very reasonable. Very nice guy, Rob, also - Porsche guy, working on a 924 turbo!

Unreal! Our girls can finally be complete! Ahh... Porsches. Where a missing, stupid, unleaded fuel only sticker can become an obsession.

This is good news. And it's cool that they sell them as a pair because the first attempt will be practice. Please post again after you put them in and let us know what you think.

It's been years since I last asked him; but, I see they are still NLA from Prosche. And for whatever reason Carbone doesn't make them.

Just a data point...I ordered the window switch decals from them a few months a go...took a while to get here but great quality...very happy. The round decals on the window switches do not crease when being placed in the concave recess. The material is a thin vinyl and molds to the curve as you press it in.

Quick Reply: Anyone reproduce the "Unleaded Fuel Only" decal for the rear hatch glass?
