Nope, they stopped advertising it until I could get it in to do the belt/pump. Like we told them, it will sell much easier once someone can drive it so I'd expect it to be out there again soon.

Glad they listened and didn't put a battery in to start it up.

The belt is hard, cracked and doesn't want to move.

No joke. Last one I saw was also on an '87 at OCIC 2009, you could see through the belt and the guy drove it there. I had to get Mark A over to see if he'd seen one that bad before. This ones close.

Sean, are you doing the cam and crank seals too? I bet there pretty crusty as well. How do the fuel lines look?

I am wondering if those headgaskets may have succumbed to coolant well past its life.

That looks GREAT !!! should be no issues with any corrosion at all. That car should do very well when properly detailed and marketed.

My thoughts exactly. I'm very happy with what I see. I've got a bottle full of the coolant (appears to be motorcraft dark green) and will do a PH test when my strips come in. I ran out a while back and forgot to order any.

I now know why it was parked all those years ago. LH has failed and from sitting so long, the fuel pump is locked up. Someone's going to get a car with lots of new parts on it.

That's no good for such an original low mileage car. You must have some old parts lying around that still work you could install.

Hehe.

Ok, update. All back together.

This is a damn good driving car. Needs some tires and some of the maintenance issues that were noted on the PPI but overall, I think it's a great car.
