Issues after upgrading Chips for 85-86 ?

There's also some adjustment range on the TPS itself via the two screws that mount it to the throttle body. My issue is that the trottle body spring seems to be kind of weak which makes the return to the idle stop on the TPS inconsistent if I adjust all of the slack out of the accelerator cable, seems a very delicate dance to get everything working correctly.

I can produce the WOT grounded signal all the way through the loom and computer module connector by forcing the throttle plate wide open right at the throttle plate linkage. Depressing the accelerator pedal to the floor doesn't accomplish that. It seems that the slack is out of the accel cable. It just seems that the pedal and cable don't have sufficient range to extend the WOT switch enough, even though I've "wound" the WOT switch enough during install to encourage WOT signal with the pedal depressed all the way. I've missed something of course.
Buy a new switch.
